Real Estate Growth or Bust
Real estate isn’t easy. Most mornings, my alarm goes off at 4:55 a.m. Before the kids are up and the house gets moving, I’m either heading to the gym, a D1 training facility, or sitting down at my computer with a fresh cup of coffee, working through my task list and thinking through the day ahead. That quiet time,,,watching the sun come up through my dining room table/office window,, is peaceful and grounding.
A lot of the work in real estate happens behind the scenes. There are frustrations, learning moments, and constant adjustments that clients never see,, and that’s how it should be. My job is to absorb the stress, solve problems, and keep things moving so the experience feels smooth on the surface. Seeing my Google reviews continue to grow in a positive direction reminds me that the effort is paying off, and I’m incredibly thankful for that momentum.
There’s an irony to this business: if you do your job well, you’re essentially working yourself out of a job. So what matters most? Relationships. Through the transactions I’ve been fortunate to be part of, I’ve built genuine connections and friendships with people I could call on and they’d do the same for me.
Real estate is a profession, and showing up professionally matters. Between ongoing education, training, and personal development, I’m constantly working to raise the bar. This isn’t easy work, but I appreciate the grind and the flexibility it offers. You can make this business as small or as big as you choose, depending on your goals. As I write down my goals for 2026 and put them on my mirror to see every day, I’m reminded that the process is just as important as the outcome.
